Amrita Bhramara – Bees for Biodiversity, Honey for Humanity
At Punarvaibhavam Foundation, Amrita Bhramara is our humble offering to nature’s most vital pollinators — the bees. The name itself is a fusion of Amrita (divine nectar) and Bhramara (bee), symbolizing the sacred relationship between bees and the essence of life. This project is dedicated to reviving indigenous beekeeping practices rooted in ecological balance, sustainable livelihoods, and reverence for biodiversity. By promoting natural, chemical-free beekeeping, we aim to: Restore the delicate ecosystem of native pollinators Support small farmers and rural communities through ethical honey production Spread awareness about the spiritual, ecological, and agricultural significance of bees Create an economy around “Amrita”— pure, desi cow-based, forest or farm-sourced honey Through training, research, and collaboration with farmers and traditional beekeepers, Amrita Bhramara nurtures the bees not just as honey-producers, but as sacred partners in regeneration — helping flowers bloom, crops flourish, and life thrive. Let’s honour the Bhramara — the Divine Bee — and together, restore nectar to the world.
